BrokenGadgets.in is a peer-to-peer marketplace connecting people who have spare earbuds or gadget parts with people who need them. We are a facilitator — we are not the buyer or seller in any transaction.
You must be at least 18 years old and resident in India to use the platform. By signing in you confirm you meet these requirements.
All payments are processed by Razorpay and held in escrow until the buyer confirms delivery and successful pairing. We charge a 12% seller platform commission. In addition, statutory deductions (TDS 1% + TCS 1%) are withheld and remitted to the government, resulting in a net bank payout of about 84% of the listing price. Disputes are reviewed within 3 business days.
Items that are illegal, export-controlled, hazardous (e.g. swollen batteries), or misrepresented are prohibited and will result in immediate account suspension.
BrokenGadgets.in is not liable for losses arising from buyer/seller disputes beyond the escrow amount held. Our maximum liability is the transaction value.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
We may update these terms. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
